In a place not far from the ocean, lays a small village called Kvibille. This is a place where time moves sloooow, which is perfect for aged cheese.

This case spans everything from TVC and OOH to visual merchandise. I’m really proud of the results as well, expanding the dairy farm and creating job opportunities for the village.

Art Director, designer, director, strategist

Kvibille have been making cheese since the 20’s, but the brand had been neglected for a long time and during that time the story behind swedens most beloved cheddar was lost. So the ideas was to relaunch the brand and tell Sweden about the quirky and slow town of Kvibille.

About the project

We started by revitalising the brand with new colours, graphics and typography. We also did nationwide take overs on OOH screens and TVC.

The residents in Kvibille know that real craftsmanship takes time and dedication, which they give to their cheese. We wanted others to give time to their passion as well, so we launched a fund where you win time to pursue your passions.

Launch campaign

Together with the best local craftsmen we built a showroom for the cheese. A place where we could tell the story behind Kvibille, invite cheese lovers to tastings and sell special edition cheese’s, express delivered the same day from the dairy down the road.

The success was instant, with 40 000 visitors and six tons of sold cheese the first six months.

And it turned out that it was not only the people in the village that loved the new store, we also won the Swedish price of design for it.

What if I told you that much like a single malt whiskey, you can buy a single dairy cheese? Say hello to Ösarps Cheddar!

Kvibille made that a reality when they realised the cheddar from the farm in Ösarp. And we got the honour to tell the world about it.

Results

The results of the work we did with Kvibille was according to me the nicest reward you can achieve as a creative. The cheese was so popular that Arla decided to invest and expand the dairy. More cheese to the people and greater employment opportunities within the village.
